This taco casserole with ground beef and tortilla chips is easy to make and very tasty. I often substitute with ground turkey and low-fat dairy products, and it’s still delicious! Serve this casserole with chips, salsa, and green salad.
There’s something incredibly comforting about a warm taco casserole fresh out of the oven, especially on busy evenings when everyone gathers around the table hungry and excited. This dish takes all the bold, zesty flavors people love about tacos and transforms them into a cheesy, layered bake that feels both hearty and homemade. With its rich texture, satisfying crunch, and creamy finish, it has become a family favorite for potlucks, game nights, and easy weeknight dinners because it brings restaurant-style flavor with the comfort of a classic casserole.
